Meet Coach Jeni Crysler! 💜📣Jenni accepted the position as the new HS Cheer coach, pending board approval!
I’m beyond excited to introduce myself as the new Head Varsity Cheer Coach for Waterville High School! Go Shockers! 💛
Cheer has been my lifelong passion for over 30 years—from youth recreation through college, and into coaching, program building, and industry leadership at every level.
I’ve had the privilege of building programs and leading teams to success, including serving as Head Coach at Eastmont High School, where I created the school’s first coed cheer program and led the team to State competition every year, earning 2nd place at State in 2022 (the program’s first state trophy) and two 2nd place Virtual State finishes during COVID.
I’m also proud to have helped establish the first exclusive scholastic uniform partnership between REBEL ATHLETIC and the WIAA, which expanded into statewide sponsorships for cheer, dance, and gymnastics alongside Gesa Credit Union.
I’m a WSCCA board member (since 2015), certified All-Star competition judge, owner of a statewide choreography business, and co-owner of Dream Valley Athletics, a competitive program that has earned multiple top finishes and a Worlds title.
I believe in confidence, character, school pride, and creating a culture where athletes grow into exceptional humans on and off the mat.
I am so excited to join the Waterville community, grow this program, and build something truly special together.
Let’s go Shockers! 💛📣

Hello! My name is Kayla Helleson, and I’m thrilled to join Waterville School District as the new TK–12 school counselor! I bring 11 years of school counseling experience at both the elementary and secondary levels, and I’m passionate about collaborating with others to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
I was born and raised in Chelan, and I have always valued the strong relationships and sense of community that rural towns provide. My family and I are excited to dig deep roots in Waterville and become part of this wonderful community.
My husband, Erik, will also be joining Waterville School next year as the new science/math teacher. We have two daughters...Harper, who will be in 7th grade, and Hallie, who will be in 2nd grade.
We look forward to getting to know the incredible students, families, staff, and community members of Waterville! Go Shockers!

Congratulations to our National Honors Society Members!
