Project H.O.P.E - Paid Summer Internships

How it Works:  Project HOPE offers paid summer internships for high school students interested in exploring a variety of careers in the health care field.  The internships are up to four weeks in length for 20 hours per week pending site availability. Interns are paid $1,000 for successful completion of the entire internship.  Efforts are made to identify health care facilities within easy commute distance from the intern's home.


Eligibility:  Students complete an online application that is available through the Eastern Washington Area Health Education Center (See website for official details)

Students must:

· Be a Junior or Senior

· Have a minimum GPA of 2.0

· Comply with state workplace requirements

· Undergo a Washington State Patrol background check

· Have or obtain a social security number by application deadline
